I have 2 flocks of crazy aggressive pigeons. They cover my deck & carpets in crap & won’t allow other birds on the balcony. They chase me off the balcony as well as my cat. That is NOT happening. I want tiny birds & no pigeons. I chase them the entire time I’m home with a squirt bottle.But this little feeder, so far, only works for the little birds–finches, chickadees, a clever Towhee, & nuthatches. More will find it & like it. Hopefully no pigeons. As soon as I wrote this, pigeons figured out to go at it, but I lowered the dome an inch & finches, nuthatches, wrentits, sparrows, chickadees, & juncos have all managed well with it. The Towhees, whom I adore will figure it out soon, I am sure. It’s well made & so easy to use. I very much like it, as do my feathered friends!!!
I bought this to add to my feeding station so I can ensure the little ones get some goodies before the jackdaws and wood pigeons hoover up the lot. It works really well and the robins especially love it.

Per qualche strano motivo i pettirossi non la usano ma cince e ballerine si. Cibo rimane asciutto anche con pioggia e vento. A distanza di 6 mesi la vite si è spannata, quindi la base cade a terra all’improvviso…temo che prima o poi si rompa
By the sturdiness of this. I did ask my husband to he-man the hook into a circle because the wind kept knocking it off the shepherdâs hook. This thing went flying 4 times before he did that. Not only is it not cracked, but there isnât even a scratch on it. I like that the top piece is adjustable. It makes it easier to fill it and helps keep the peskier big birds out of it so the bluebirds have a shot at it.
