Endlich haben meine Nymphensittiche genug Platz zum Baden. Besonders gut finde ich, dass sich das Badebecken herausziehen lässt und man nicht das ganze Gehäuse abschrauben muss.

This is a great birdbath. It’s large and easy to install. In fact I’d go as far to say it’s the best birdbath I’ve used for caged birds, we’ve had a few different baths over the years. We’ve fitted it to our indoor aviary cage.PROS:Our four budgies checked this bath out within a couple of minutes of installation, so it didn’t frighten themEasy to installSecure when installed correctly and well constructedEasy to maintainSlide out tray (very handy indeed)Comes very well packed and protectedLarge enough for budgies to use and a cockatiel could fit in this, not sure about larger sized birds as I don’t have experience of keeping larger birds.CONS:Nothing major and I wouldn’t call them negatives just observations. You will need a cage that has at least two doors to fit this (or an opening cage top) You’ll need to open one door to site the bath, then open another door to reach across to be able to locate and secure the locking knob, which has to be secured from the inside of the cage. This makes the bath secure as it isn’t simply hanging on the side of the cage like most other baths. In fact, I’ve never seen a birdbath that fits in this way, it’s so much more secure for a bath to lock in place like this.The main part of the bath is moulded from one piece of clear plastic. When you remove the white tray for cleaning, the slot that the tray fits into isn’t sealed. This means that budgies and smaller birds could get out of that slot if they like to explore. The gap is a fraction over 4cm in height, so if your birds escaping their cage is a problem, you’ll need to put something in there to block off the gap, when you’ve got the white tray out.Final note: The seller shows a photograph of this birdbath covered with some kind of light blocking housing that covers the exterior of this bath. That accessory could be handy to purchase to give this item an alternative use, it’s not included with this bath.All in all we’re very impressed with this bath, it will be staying on our cage and be used longterm.
Passt auf fast jeden Käfig. Ist schön groà und unser Rocky badet gerne da drin.
